Having experience of Enforcement of Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 and rules thereunder 1945. Like
-Inspections of establishments licensed for sale and manufacturing of drugs.
-Inspection of blood banks and blood storage centres.
-To take samples of drugs and cosmetics and to send them for test and analysis according to procedure mentioned in the act
-To investigate complaints.
-To institute prosecutions in respect of breaches of the act and rules thereunder
Ø To check whether the price of the drugs in market is according to drug price control 2013 or not. To refer the same to NPPA if MRP of drug is heigher than the ceiling price fixed by NPPA through DPCO 2013.
Ø Perform the functions for the implementation of Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) act 1954.
