MediSage Enhances Healthcare Tech for Indonesian Doctors

Mumbai, December 26, 2023: MediSage, a leading Indian digital healthcare platform, is making exciting moves in Indonesia. Partnering with the Indonesian General Practitioners Association (PDUI), they aim to boost the digital skills of doctors across the country. MediSage and PDUI are teaming up to help Indonesian doctors improve their digital technology know-how. They’ve signed a special agreement called a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to kickstart a program ensuring doctors all over Indonesia are familiar with digital tools. Dr. Abraham Padlan from PDUI is hopeful about this partnership, recognizing the global changes and big data challenges. The goal is to help doctors adapt and stay updated.

Prof. Syarifuddin Wahid, who leads the Indonesian Collegium of Medicine, said, “This collaboration benefitting all general practitioners in Indonesia. It’s a way for doctors to improve their skills, possibly opening doors for them to work in other countries. PDUI and the Collegium are working hard to get certificates that would let Indonesian doctors explore global job opportunities”.

Abhishek Ghosh, Director and Co-Founder, MediSage, said, “We’re very excited about this venture and keen to help Indonesian doctors grow their skill sets using the MediSage platform. We believe technology can make it easier for doctors to learn about the latest medical developments.”

Apart from working with PDUI, MediSage is teaming up with the Association of Indonesian Medical Student Medical Assistance Teams (PTBMMKI) for Project PTBMMKI. This program aims to support the next generation of healthcare leaders in Indonesia. Across 84 branches in the country, medical students will engage in activities on the MediSage platform to learn and grow.

MediSage is also helping medical students in Indonesia with Project UKMPPD. This program supports students in their journey to become skilled medical professionals, focusing on enhancing their medical knowledge and skills. MediSage wants to be a significant part of shaping the future of healthcare in Indonesia.

MediSage isn’t stopping in Indonesia. They plan to organize conferences with doctors from Indonesia, ensuring they’re part of the global medical community. By expanding into Indonesia, MediSage is playing a big role in changing healthcare for the better, ensuring doctors are comfortable with digital tools and ready for global opportunities.
