Medlife- India’s largest online e-pharmacy launches Express Delivery Service

~Medicine delivery in just 2 hours~ 

Bangalore, November 07, 2018: Medlife, India’s largest online e–pharmacy company, has announced the launch of their 2-hour Express Delivery Services in Bangalore that aims to fulfil the acute and immediate requirements of their customers.

This service represents a significant new option for the patients and caregivers in Bangalore, making medicines widely available within a short span of time. This will immensely help medicine seekers, especially who are in urgent need of medications for ailments such as Fever, Common Cold, etc.

Since its inception in Nov 2014, Medlife has established a network servicing more than 15,000 orders every day across 29 states and 23,000 pin codes in India.  With the express delivery service now available in Bangalore, customers can easily order medicines through the Medlife app that will be delivered to them within two hours. Some of the features of this delivery service are:

Initially, Express Delivery Service will cater to 30 PIN codes across Bangalore and will be scaled up to 70 PIN codes in the near future. Bangalore is the first city to receive Express Delivery Service from Medlife and this will extend to other metro cities with help of its extensive network of fulfillment centers. Medlife further aims to drive 50% of its online medicine delivery revenue through this segment. 

India’s looming healthcare burden calls for innovative solutions that can provide better access to healthcare services. In this regard, e-pharmacies have been one of the most impactful technological evolutions and with the number of smartphone users likely to hit 490.9 million by 2022, there is a huge scope to leverage technology to improve access and convenience. Starting with the express delivery services, Medlife aims to launch more such platforms that would address the gaps in the healthcare ecosystem in India and subsequently improve outcomes.
