Bengaluru, September 23, 2026: Asia Healthcare Holdings (AHH), India’s first single-speciality healthcare investing and operating platform, today announced its portfolio company Motherhood Hospitals, a women and child healthcare network, has been awarded Gold-level certification under the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) Digital Health programme. The certification places Motherhood Hospitals in the advanced tier of NABH’s digital maturity framework, recognising the depth to which technology has been embedded across its clinical, operational and administrative processes.
The Gold level recognises advanced compliance against NABH’s digital health standards, which span eight chapters, 38 standards and 181 objective elements covering patient care, medication management, digital infrastructure, information management, finance and procurement, and human resource management. Certification is awarded across three maturity tiers – Silver, Gold and Platinum – following self-assessment and independent external assessment.
The achievement is significant for its network-wide scale. Motherhood Hospitals has focused on institutionalising digital standards across its hospital network rather than limiting implementation to select units and has achieved the gold level in its very first certification attempt across the group. This makes Motherhood Hospitals the first hospital chain in the women and child healthcare sector to achieve this distinction across its network.
The recognition reflects sustained investment by AHH and Motherhood Hospitals in digital infrastructure, clinical information systems and technology-enabled workflows, backed by an organisation-wide focus on deploying technology purposefully. The approach is aimed at strengthening clinical quality, patient safety, operational excellence, patient experience and data-driven decision-making.
