Mr. K. Ravi Elected as FKCCI President

New Delhi, July 02, 2017: Mr. K. RAVI, is the first practicing Chartered Accountant to become the President of FKCCI in the 100 years history of the chamber which was founded by Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya in the year 1916. A worthy combination of dynamism, simplicity and humility, he is a man with creative ideas and is enthusiastic to embark on his new role.

Having gained deep insights into the profession as a fellow member of the ICAI with more than 30 years’ of impeccable professional standing, he was also the President of the Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association (KSCAA) in the year 1999-2000. Apart from being a Chartered Accountant, he is a qualified lawyer and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts. He has been the Past President of the Rotary Bangalore Orchards – Rotary International District 3190, Past Governor of Institute of Internal Auditors, Florida, USA – Bangalore Chapter. Currently, he is the senior partner of K. Ravi & Associates, Bengaluru.

With a rich experience in domestic and international Taxation, Investment Planning, Bank Audits, Corporate Audits, India-Entry for Foreign Entities, consulting on matters relating to FEMA, FCRA, Liaison Offices and Trusts, Mr. Ravi is also actively associated with several professional and social organizations.

He has been the Convener of FKCCI Business Delegations to countries like Australia, New Zealand, Eastern Europe, Japan and Canada. He has published excellent articles on matters related to Direct Taxes, tax planning and investment advisory. He has also presented papers in seminars & conferences on varied subjects.

K. Ravi is happily married to Mrs. Vani Ravi and has two sons Rahul and Suraj. He is a voracious reader, a keen golfer, a table tennis player and a sketch artist who also enjoys Karaoke.

Mr. Sudhakar S Shetty was elected as Sr. Vice President, he has served FKCCI as Vice President and also had served as the Chairman of the District Coordination Committee for many years and had organized various State Level District Conferences, Road shows and other events throughout the State.

Mr. Shetty had earlier served as the President of Mysore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mysore and was also the Vice President of MCCI. A man of diverse interest and capabilities, Mr. Shetty is the Chairman Jnanasarovara International Residential School. He was also the President of Mysore Hotel Owners Association. He is the recipient of many honors and awards including the “Visionary of Karnataka” by Times Group in 2008, and he is the special invitee of KASSIA. He has served as the President of many associations. He was also running a leading Kannada Eveninger “Sankranti” which had large circulation.

Mr C.R Janardhana, was elected as a Vice President. He is a Mechanical Enginner and Entrepreneur with vast experience in Printing Sector and also has considerable experience in dealing with issues relating to Trade, Industry, Service Sector. He had served FKCCI in various capacities as Chairman of Industry Committee.

Sri C.R Janardhana, has held many positions such as Chairman of Printech Park Cluster, Past President of Karnataka State Printers Association, Past President of All India Federation of Master Printers, New Delhi in the year 2022, which is apex body of the printing industry in the India, Past President of Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association and Board of Director of KSSIDC, LIDKAR, Govt tool room ( Government Training Tool Centre).

He was the Chief Promoter and President of KASSIA Credit Co-operative Society, Bangalore. He was the Past President of Karnataka State Printers Co-operative Society Ltd., He has visited international exhibitions in West Germany and United Kingdom on many occasions.
