Hyderabad, January 12, 2022: New beginnings and new resolutions, Narayan Seva Sansthan organised an artificial limb measurement camp to help the differently abled at Hyderabad on Sunday. The camp was organised at First Bus Stop Phase 4 K.P. Near S.B Colony Lodha Complex, Kukatpally, and Hyderabad.
In the camp, 50 differently abled participated for getting free of cost help by NSS with an awareness camp following COVID-19 guidelines. Narayan Seva Sansthan‘s Senior Prosthetics and Orthotics specialist measured limbs of people affected by polio and those who lost their legs due to diabetes, accidents, etc, got themselves measured for artificial limbs.
Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan said, “It is our pledge that a free artificial limb measurement and distribution camp should be organized for the disabled across India. Narayan Seva Sansthan has distributed 2,74,603 wheelchairs, 2,64,422 tricycles, 2,97,789 crutches, 3,61,997 and 1,72,000 blankets among the needy and underprivileged persons with more than 4,26,850 successful operations.”
In the coming months, NSS is planning many camps in the city to help the needy by offering the chance to have equality, accessibility and equal opportunities for the differently-abled.
