Bengaluru, December 04, 2015: 54thNational Pharmacy Week was observed by University Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. In this occasion, a seminar was organised on 15th November, 2015 on the topic “Impact of Food and Drug Adulteration on Health Care Systems’ at Post Graduate Council Conference Hall, Utkal University. Prof. A.K.Mohapatra, Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar inaugurated the seminar.Prof. R.K.Bal, Chairman P.G.Council,Prof. S.K.Tripathy, Director CDC, Utkal University,Mrs. M. Pattnaik, Deputy Drugs Controller, Odisha, Prof. F.M.Sahoo, XIM, Bhubaneswar and Mr. B.K. Mishra, Chairperson, State Balbhawan discussed on the theme. More than 200 delegates participated in the seminar. On 21st November, 2015, a cleaning program was organised in the department campus at Utkal University. Head of the department, faculty and non-teaching staffs and students of the department actively participated during the observation of the 54th National Pharmacy Week.
