Chennai March 4, 2014:- Four years after it entered the Asia-Pacific market with a machine to detect arterial stiffening, Omron Corporation of Japan is bringing the device into India. Omron is targeting hospitals and nursing centres for the new cardio-vascular machine.
Shinya Tomada, MD, Omron Healthcare India, said the extent of reach of products such as the cardiovascular screener VP-1000 is about 2 per cent in the Indian market. Priced at ₹12-15 lakh, the instrument commands higher premium compared to its competitors.
