Overwhelming Response to ​​1ST Maharashtra Health & Wellness Tourism Conference

New Delhi, July 17, 2018: Medical Value Tourism is estimated to be a 500 billion INR industry in India by 2020. Wellness Tourism has already become a 490 billion INR Industry. The Maharashtra Health & Wellness Tourism Conference (MHWTC) , organised by Pandoza Solutions Pvt Ltd ,held  its First Health & Wellness Tourism Stakeholder’s meet recently at Taj Land’s End, Bandra, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was  a grand symposium bringing together the entire reputed stakeholders from the Health & Wellness Tourism industry of Maharashtra on one common platform. The Event ably  facilitated professional opportunities for marketing, business development & networking along with a scope to interact with domain experts from the field of Medical, Dental, AYUSH, Hospitality & Tourism industry for the state of Maharashtra.  KPMG was the knowledge partner for this spectacular event and amongst the prominent participants were Reliance Foundation , Alkem Laboratories , Fortis Group and a host of other corporates and business conglomerates

Jaykumar Rawal, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Employment Guarantee Scheme, Goverment of Maharashtra, did the honours for the event along with Padmashri Dr. Ramakant Panda , Jainaba Jague , Ambassador Designate of The Gambia , Dr. Malvika Khadke , Director – Pandoza Solutions Pvt Ltd , Dr. Anil Bankar and Rekha Chaudhary .  Speaking on the occasion , Jaykumar Rawal announced that the government has identified two 100 acre plots near Igatpuri that would be built as medical tourism hubs and invited participation from one and hall . He was all praise for the efforts of Pandoza Solutions for organising an event of this stature and size and said that it was very much the need of the hour .

Padmabhushan Dr. Ramakanta Panda, opined, “Nearly fifty thousand people are visiting Maharashtra

annually for various other countries, for Medical Treatment and wellness. This essentially means fifty thousand brand ambassadors for promoting medical tourism in Maharashtra and there by other great opportunity for one and all connected to this industry. Further if one takes into accounts their immediate Family and Friends, the number of brand ambassadors is even larger.

Sambhaji Diliprao Patil – Nilangekar , Minister For Skill Development & Labour , Joined the proceedings in the second half and expressed confidence that under the able leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis , medical tourism would touch new heights in Maharashtra . He also assured the audience that all requisite skill development and infrastructure development would match pace with the demands of the industry .
