Paras Healthcare Makes New Appointments

Dr. Jatinder Kumar joins as Group Medical Director;

Mr. Viresh Mina as Group Head Human Resources

New Delhi, January 23, 2016: One of India’s most trusted super specialty healthcare chains, Paras Healthcare has expanded its corporate family by making two crucial new appointments to its top ranks to help the healthcare company into a new phase of growth.

Dr. Jatinder Kumar has been appointed as Group Medical Director while Mr. Viresh Mina has been appointed as the new Group Head – Human Resources.

As Group Medical Director of the healthcare company that currently runs 3 super specialty hospitals across the country and 2 hospitals under the new venture Paras Bliss, Dr Kumar’s core responsibility includes improving medical care and clinical services such as cost management, utilization reviews, quality assurance, medical protocol development and maintaining quality of medical services as the healthcare corporate expands its presence to other centres in the country.

On the other hand, Mr. Mina will be expected to ensure a good flow of medical talent and expertise across the hospitals and ensure the best doctors and medical staff join the growing hospital chain.

Dr. Jatinder Kumar did his MBBS from IMS – BHU in the year 1973; Masters in Surgery in the year 1978 from IMS – BHU and M.Ch. (Neurosurgery) from AIIMS New Delhi in the year 1989.He has over 35 years of clinical experience and prominently worked as Neurosurgeon. He has worked with several hospitals, viz., G.B Pant Hospital, RML Hospital, AIIMS, St. Stephan’s Hospital, Max Balaji Hospital in Delhi, Kailash Hospital-Noida, Vimhans Hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi are the names of few. He was also instrumental in the initial project phase of Paras Hospitals, Gurgaon.

Mr. Viresh Mina has over 14 years of experience of leading & participating in Human Resource teams across industries like Human Resources Consulting, Telecom, Pharmaceutical, Media, etc. He has worked across assignments touching all aspects of employee life cycle management including Talent Acquisition and Management, Organization Development, Employee Engagement, Performance Management and Capability Building. He has worked with renowned organizations like Ernst & Young (EY), Times of India, Idea Cellular (An Aditya Birla Group Company) to name a few. Prior to joining Paras Hospitals, he was associated with Ernst & Young as Senior Manager – People Advisory Services.
