New Delhi, December 10, 2016: PHD Chamber’s “Swachh Paryavaran Campaign” under the aegis of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry hosted Recycling Awareness Workshop with POM POM as their “recycling partner “to conserve resources & environment.
The drive aimed at expressing solidarity with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s “Swachh Bharat Mission” for social transformation of young minds. The campaign is supported by Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change under Government of India.
This campaign aims to impart a powerful message to the society on CLEAN ENVIRONMENT by empowering schools to become agents of social change. Students are becoming ambassadors to promote the idea of recycling waste and making environment Eco friendly.
The awareness workshop under “Swachh Paryavaran Campaign” is being conducted for over 10000 students in various Delhi Schools by imparting them knowledge of waste segregation, reduce, reuse & recycle. The main aim of the workshop was to create aliveness about product recycling such as plastics, paper, glass, metal, cardboard, old exam papers etc by reusing & creating something unique out of it.
The workshop not only helped them in learning but inspired students to participate in the ongoing activities under the campaign and becoming brand ambassadors for conservation of resources & environment, hence taking it forward with a sense of commitment & renewed consciousness for nation building.
