Sami Direct appoints Anand Kumar as new CEO

Bangalore, December 18, 2016: Sami Direct, a subsidiary of Sami Labs, the leading health science company, today announced that Anand Kumar, currently Vice President at Sami Direct, has been appointed as Sami Direct’s new Chief Executive Officer. Anand will assume the new role effective December 1, 2016 and will be based in Bangalore. Anand succeeds former CEO Mr. UjjwalMukhopadhyay. Ujjwal is promoted to a global role in the group and will be looking after Sami Direct’s global expansions, especially South East Asian and Middle East regions.

Anand has over two decades of experience in direct selling business and has specialization in areas of marketing and sales, business development, product promotions, channel management in consumer durable and multi-level marketing.

Announcing the appointment Dr. Muhammed Majeed, Founder-Sami Direct said that “Anand has a strong business acumen and thorough knowledge of the company’s product portfolio so I am confident that Anand, with his deep experience and expertise in the MLM business, will elevate the company to the next level.”
