New Delhi, November 25, 2018: S.A.S. NAGAR: National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), S.A.S. Nagar, Punjab conducted a seminar on“Development of Formulations of Sensitive Drugs” on October 5, 2018 at its Small and Medium Pharmaceutical Industrial Centre (SMPIC). Around 50 professionals from pharma industry attended the one day meet.
After the inaugural session, the resource persons who spoke on the theme of the seminar included: Rajinder Kumar Harna, Retd. ADC, Haryana spoke on ‘Formulation development of sensitive injectable products’; Ravi Kochhar, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (SPIL), Research & Development (R&D) Centre, Gurgaon (Formulation development of sensitive drugs); Dr Naresh Sharma, Deputy Drugs Controller-Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), DGHS, MoHFW, India & President-Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Delhi State Branch (Controls during the manufacturing of sensitive drugs); and Rahul Bhargava, Director-Packaging, SPIL, R&D Centre, Gurgaon (Packaging of sensitive drug products).
Finally the programme ended with vote of thanks proposed by Dr Arvind K. Bansal, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmaceutics, NIPER.
