Shujath served earlier as Chairman of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and is founder member of Hyderabad In House Counsels forum, executive member of Indian Corporate Counsel Association. He is currently serving as Member of Secretarial Standard Board of ICSI. He provides active support in process of law making and works with various professional bodies.
He regularly speaks at several national and international conferences and presents his thoughts on Technology and Law, Governance, Compliance and Risk and emerging areas in law.
He also believes in giving back to the community and is Trustee of Abhaya Foundation. He has strong passion towards teaching and mentoring and he spends his spare time with young professionals and students of Corporate Law.
