Shushrusha Heart Care Centre distributes trees to citizens on Valentine’s Day Air pollution is increasing the number of heart patients

Navi Mumbai, February 15, 2021: Love is a natural feeling and Valentine’s Day is celebrated all over the world to make this feeling special.  Today, many get married and some decide to stay with their loved one.  Many people give gifts to their loved ones on this day but Shushrusha Heart Care Centre and speciality Hospital at Nerul have given tree saplings as gifts to the citizens of Navi Mumbai and Shushrusha Heart Care has advised them to stay with the trees on this Valentine’s Day.  It is appealing to plant these trees in your area as well as in the open space around the house.  At this time, the patients coming to the hospital as well as their relatives were allotted trees that go straight to the side of the small road.  Commenting on this initiative Shushrusha Heart Care Centre and Speciality Hospital Director and Cardiologist Dr. Sanjay Tarlekar said, “On the occasion of Valentine’s Day we organized this event to convince the people about the importance of trees in our health and mainly for heart health. Valentine’s Day and the heart are closely related but increasing air pollution is affecting the hearts of the citizens.  To reduce this air pollution, Shushrusha Heart Care in Nerul has requested everyone to plant at least one tree on Valentine’s Day to reduce air pollution.  Heart disease is on the rise in the near future. We can’t overcome air pollution in a day but we can definitely try to reduce it. The first step is to plant trees. If you plant trees in the open space around your house, the oxygen produced from them will help you.  It will be a boon because the ten cities in India that are in the grip of pollution it is a matter of concern that the five cities are in Maharashtra. ”

Air pollution is the first blow to a person’s respiratory system, causing unclean air to enter the body through various respiratory tract infections. Pollutants such as ultrafine, which are excreted in traffic, interfere with blood flow in the arteries, leading to heart attacks.  Air pollution is rampant in the city and the people living there are falling prey to high blood pressure and the number of heart patients is increasing, said Dr. Sanjay Tarlekar, Cardiologist from Shushrusha Heart Care Centre and Speciality Hospital, Navi Mumbai.
