New Delhi, April 24, 2018: Skin is the interface of our body to the external environment hence changing seasons have a large impact on the skin and thus require a change in skincare routine in summer as well.Summer brings excess heat and dryness in the air. It also brings with it a higher UV radiation on the skin.
So adequate water intake and fresh fruits and salads replenish the skin with fluids and other vital nutrients. Externally a mild moisturizing lotion and a good sunscreen helps prevent damage to the skin.
Heat increases the blood circulation to the skin in an effort to radiate the accumulated heat and cool the body. This leads to excess sweating in the body folds and oiliness in the T-zone of the face, and chest; both of which are more pronounced in oily skin. There is also flushing of the face and a higher tendency to sunburn easily.
The daily skincare routine consists of a triad- Cleanse, Tone and Moisturize. The frequency of cleanse and tone is higher in oily skin and dry skin requires more frequent moisturizing.
Best home remedy for tan removal is adequate hydration and avoidance of sun exposure. Do not experiment with and damage your skin from the unauthentic tips you freely get from around you.
