Ahmedabad, March 01, 2016: Sophos, a global leader in network and endpoint security, today announced that it is the main sponsor of the 14th Annual Motif Charity Walk 2016 to be held in Ahmedabad, India on Sunday, February 21, 2016.
This charity walk has been conducted for the past 13 years with the core objective of increasing health awareness and also raising funds for NGOs that are involved in activities like rural development, human rights,
capacity building of grass roots organizations, providing holistic education to the hearing impaired underprivileged children and free subsidized cancer treatment.
Sophos, as the main supporter of the event, will be contributing Rs. 5 Lakhs in funding to Shrimad Rajchandra Seva Kendra, one of the beneficiaries of this event. This organization runs a special school for hearing impaired children and Sophos is helping upgrade their speech lab by funding the cost of three advanced software that will enhance their learning methodologies.
