SVIMS adjudged best teaching hospital

New Delhi, July 29, 2018: Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) has been bestowed with ‘Best Teaching Hospital’ award by Dr.NTR Vaidya Seva Trust – Government of Andhra Pradesh, and secured first place in this category, among all the government teaching hospitals across the state.

In addition to this, SVIMS also received awards for ‘Best Performing Speciality’, presented to seven of its departments: Neurosurgery and Rheumatology securing 1st place with CT Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology and Urology at 2nd place according to reports published in thehindu.com.

The awards were presented to SVIMS for providing exceptional healthcare services to the patients, under Dr.NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme. SVIMS Director-cum-Vice-Chancellor Dr.T.S. Ravikumar congratulated the entire SVIMS family with special mention/recognition to the work done by Chief Medical Coordinator Dr. Lokeshwara Reddy and team.
