T.A.C ropes in Kajal Aggarwal as the Brand Ambassador for its Ayurvedic Dashapushapdi Baby Care Range

New Delhi, August 23, 2022: T.A.C – The Ayurveda Company, one of the fastest growing D2C Ayurvedic FMCG brands, entered the baby care category in May 2022 with India’s first Made Safe Certified Toxin Free Ayurvedic Dashapushpadi Baby Care products. To take Ayurvedic Baby Care to every Indian household, T.A.C has on-boarded the new mom and immensely popular actress in Bollywood and Tollywood, Kajal Aggarwal.

Blessed with baby boy Neil in April, Kajal has been a firm believer in Ayurveda and Ayurvedic lifestyle; hence, there was an instant affinity for this association for clean, toxin-free, premium quality yet affordable ayurvedic formulations for babies.

Kajal has come on board as the face of T.A.C’s baby care range, featuring in the ad film entailing the journey of a new mom who steps into motherhood, uncertain but strong, caring but paranoid, curious but only wanting the best and safest for her baby and thus, resorting to Ayurveda. She decodes T.A.C’s unrivalled quality and benefits in the Ayurvedic baby care segment. The renowned celebrity fashion photographer Dabboo Ratnani was also roped in for the shoot to bring out the beautiful bond between a mother and her baby.

“I am excited to be a part of T.A.C – The Ayurveda Company family. I have personally been using these products as a mom for a few months, and I genuinely like them. I believe that with Ayurveda for babies, mothers like me will find a solution to the doubts they face while choosing safe, high-quality products for their younger ones. I wish all the luck to the founders Param & Shreedha and their team for their journey of building T.A.C as one of the most loved Ayurvedic Brand Globally”, added Kajal.

Explaining the relevance of the collaboration with Kajal, CEO & Co-founder of The Ayurveda Company, Shreedha Singh noted, “When a baby takes birth, that’s when parents are also born, and they, especially mothers, are finicky to the last detail for their baby. While growing up, our generation has had a distant relationship with Ayurveda owing to misbeliefs and doubts around its efficiency & safety. We understand that the journey of accepting baby products begins only after they have passed multiple parental approvals. In fact, to understand this gap between Ayurveda and babies, we conducted a survey with more than 1000+ parents and parents-to-be, and it was encouraging for us at T.A.C to find out that 91% of parents wanted Ayurvedic baby products. This reassured us to pursue the dream of enabling parents to start their baby’s journey early on with Ayurveda and tell the story through someone who believes in the power of Ayurveda, i.e., Kajal.”

In May 2022, T.A.C launched the Dashapushpadi Baby Care range with a rightful audience, 300+ mothers and children who experienced the products firsthand, understood the significance of Ayurveda and shared their feedback. The response was overwhelmingly positive as children enjoyed the careful formulations co-created with Ayurveda Doctors, soothing aroma & cheerful packaging that helped mothers restore their faith in Ayurveda for their kids, due credit to the range’s efficacy.

Dashapushpadi, meaning Dasha (Ten) + Pushp (Flowers) + Adi (and more), range is made with premium ayurvedic ingredients containing 10 sacred & exotic flowers that help in the healthy formation of a baby’s tender skin, hair & overall wellness. The inaugural range includes 5 products – Body Massage Oil, Body Wash, Body Lotion, Baby Shampoo and corn starch-based talc-free Dusting Powder.

“At T.A.C we are on a mission to H.E.A.L (Help Embrace Ayurveda for Life) the world. We intend to bring the solutions from our 3000-year-old medical science for modern problems we face today. With T.A.C Dashapushpadi range, we connect Ayurveda to the young ones, who will witness its prowess and grow with its value into individuals who have strong faith in holistic wellness & choose Ayurveda over chemically laden options,” added Founder & MD Param Bhargava.

T.A.C is targeting to expand its omnichannel presence with the launch of 3000+ retail points of sales including 50 exclusive brand outlets (EBO Kiosks) across the country by March 23. In a short span of Jun-Aug 22, T.A.C has already launched 10 retail outlets in New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Bhopal, Bengal and more. The company is projecting to increase its revenue to INR100 crores by FY22-23 – 5x growth from its FY22 revenue of INR20 crore and become the fastest D2C Brand to reach this milestone in less than 24 months.
