The Mangaluru-based KMC Hospital, in collaboration with Kerala Telemedicine Project and ILFS, has launched telemedicine facility at Karunagapally, 27 km from Kollam, in Kerala. Quoting Anand Venugopal, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, a press release said here that this is a pilot project, and 25 such centres will be offered telemedicine service in the coming days. KMC Hospital will strive to provide advance facilities for the benefit of the people, it said.
