Pune, February 25, 2025 , Jupiter Hospital, in association with The Federation of Organ and Body Donation, and the Rotary Club of Poona North, successfully organized Walkathon 2025, encouraging people to stay active and spread awareness about organ donation.
The event featured a 5 KM competitive run for participants above 18 years and a 3 KM non-competitive walk focused on fun and fitness. More than 500 of participants joined in, making the event a great success.
Jupiter Hospital’s physiotherpist team have conducted warming up session for all participants with some entertaining moves and stretches.Also there was a very energetic and encouraging musical show performed by Jupiter’s Medico Band i.e. ‘The Jovians’.
A 60 year old woman who donated her kidney to her 38 year old son also were participated for 3 km walk. There are some more donors and patients who have participated enthusiastically to give the message to the society.
All participants received a finisher’s badge, a T-shirt, and breakfast, while exciting prizes were awarded through a lucky draw, adding to the enthusiasm.
