New Delhi, January 29, 2017: One should avoid using hair products with chemicals because such products can be bad for your hair. Your hair style matters a lot to you, so when it comes to taking care of hair you cannot go for any random hair product. Also, one always wishes for natural hair color so why not go for such a treatment which avoids use of chemicals and is totally done with the help of natural products. For natural treatment of hair Aromatherapy is be the best option.
One of the major hair problems that we have to face is of dandruff. First, you should know what dandruff is. The white scales that you see on your shoulders arise because of the improper rinsing of shampoo. That means the real dandruff is beneath your scalp which is a kind of bacterial infection that takes some time to develop and is even present in the summers. This infection will take minimum 6 months to one year treatment for actual dandruff to go. Using hot water for rinsing increases the amount of white scale.
It is believed that shampoos are good for hair which is not true, soaps are better than shampoo since their particle size is much bigger than the Shampoo’s and is thus is to rinse off. Shampoo is a combination of various chemicals. If you want to use shampoo, prefer the one that contains Sulphate Free Detergent Base and is also free from Paraben Preservatives. More importantly, it has natural active ingredients (As anti dandruff formula) , Soft baby shampoo base for Extra dry and rough hair and scalp. And make sure you rinse it properly using lots of lukewarm water.
If you don’t rinse the shampoo properly you will lose the glow and reflection of your hair. Applying oil to hair is important in order to keep your hair in good physical shape. You will be able to see best results if right technique is used and correct choice of oil is made. Coconut oil can be a good option but more so in summers
· Applying oil to hair is one of the ways to get better hair strength and hair quality as per Ayurvedic principles. But you should know the right technique and right time. Many people prefer applying hair oil in the morning. But it is not good. Never apply hair oil in the morning. If you wish to get better quality of hair, to encourage hair growth, to prevent early grey hairs, and split ends, etc, it is healthier to apply hair oil at night and take warm water to rinse on the next day morning.
· Oil should be on the scalp and not on the hair.
· Coconut oil is the solution to many hair related problems. Coconut oil should be used with the steam wrap. 15-20 minutes is the ideal time for that.
· Always use lukewarm water. Cold water in winter can harm your hair and it can lead to dry, dull and breakable hair. Even More hot water shall take away the Scalp oil ( Sebum ) rendering your hair more dry, dull , rough and unmanageable. You can put together base oil almond, Jojoba and olive oil. Here is the aromatherapy formula:
1. Mix 1 teaspoon of base oil. 2 drops of vitamin E oil. 1 drop of tea tree oil. 1 drop of pacholi oil and 1 drop of basil oil. It will help you get a good hair texture and it will make your hair stronger.
2. You can give steam to your hair but don’t forget to wash next day.
· The role of conditioner in hair care cannot be ignored. All hair needs conditioner. It protects from towel damage. So, use conditioner if required. Also, at same time one thing that you should keep in mind is that you should not use Leave On/ Build On conditioners that has silicon oil which brings more gravitational pull to your hair making your Scalp more weak in the long run .
· Prefer a good Rinse Off conditioner that has natural ingredients.
Like when you prepare food by taking help of a recipe book, the result comes better. Same way, here are some additional tips for hair care:
1. Take one spoon Yoghurt, one teaspoon of amla, 1teaspoon of shikhakai, ½ tulsi and ½ pudina, ½ methi and mix it properly to apply on hair.
2. You can also blend the white part of egg (Albumin) with shampoo and apply on hair.
A proportionate diet provides the accurate vitamins, minerals and nutrients to maintain the body and mind strong and fit. Eating well can also help in the avoidance of a variety of diseases and health harms, as well as helping to maintain the texture of hair and promoting a general feeling of well-being. Well yes! It’s true that if you want good hair then you should have a control on your diet also.
Eggs are a high-quality source of protein, and they also have a number of vital vitamins and minerals and comparatively few calories, making them a nutrient-dense food. Eat the white part of egg for healthy hair. It will also help you get rid of dandruff and dry hair. Also, it has the ability to fight split ends. Eat healthy food that is full of vitamins like Vitamin H, B5, vitamin K, vitamin B12.
Eat sprouts thrice a week with salad. Salad should not contain salt and ketchup. Little bit of lemon and pudina chutney 1 ½ hour after salad will help you a lot.
Early morning walk and exercise is good for vitamin D. walking in the morning can help you take advantage of a stress free environment. Vitamin D can be further with no trouble absorbed all through morning walks. Again there is a lesser amount of pollution to slash down on sun rays. Vitamin D helps with calcium reliability in the bones. With a lack of calcium you can experience osteoporosis. For strong and thick hair, try to get vitamin D as much as you can.
