Railway hospital to be set up in Haryana

A Railway Hospital will be set up in Haryana and all the four divisions of the state would get four railway ambulances connected to big hospitals, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said today.

Prabhu told this during a meeting with Haryana Transport Minister Ram Bilas Sharma at Rail Bhawan, as per a press release issued by the state government here.

Sharma urged the Centre to start a new railway line connecting Jaipur to Narnaul, Narnaul to Mahendergarh and Mahendergarh to Dadri.

He also requested that a stoppage for express trains be made at Satnali Railway Station which is an important railway station on the Delhi-Bikaner line laid before independence.

It would help people belonging not only from Satnali region but from about 80 villages of Haryana and adjoining Rajasthan, Sharma said as per the press release.

Prabhu said he would visit Mahendergarh district in the first week of June and would implement all the pending projects of the region related to Railways, the release said. PTI
