New Delhi, September 19, 2023: Pharma Impurity Conclave 2023, the pioneering event held at the Novotel Convention Centre in Hyderabad on September 7th and 8th, 2023, has addressed critical R&D impurity-related challenges and provided attendees with a compelling program aimed at resolving industry pain points and delivering valuable learning experiences.

The conference commenced with a keynote address by Ms. Guneet Kaur Hayer, Managing Director of Eminence Business Media, who warmly welcomed attendees and set the stage for an outstanding two-day R&D-focused learning program. The event featured enlightening sessions led by industry experts, including Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh from Micro Labs, Mr. Shital Kumar Pathak from Glenmark Pharma, and Dr. KMV Narayana Rao from Aragen Life Sciences. These sessions covered essential topics such as development strategy by design, control strategies for Genotoxic impurities, and risk assessment of Elemental Impurities. Additionally, a unique case study session, moderated by Dr. Narender Rao Somisetti from Metrochem API and Dr. Srinivas Achanta from Dr. Reddy’s, added depth to the conference. Dr. Somenath Ganguly from Sun Pharma and Dr. Praveen Cherukuappli from Innovare Labs led an interactive session by addressing nitrosamine challenges and offering insights into the timeline of events to facilitate learning and pave the way for the second day’s nitrosamine workshop.

The conference’s second day focused primarily on the prominent challenges in the Pharma Industry – Nitrosamines. It began with a session on NDSRIs and analytical methods led by Mr. Subhrangshu Chaudhury from Alembic Pharma, followed by a workshop on nitrosamine regulatory guideline updates by EMA, USFDA, Health Canada, and MHRA (UK), designed by Dr. BM Rao.

The most unique feature of this year’s edition was the opportunity to ask questions anonymously to the industry’s top experts. Dr Gopal Vaidyanathan from Natco Pharma, Dr BM Rao from QDot Associates, Dr Praveen Cherukuappli from Innovare Labs, Dr KMV Narayana Rao from Aragen Life Sciences and Mr Subhrangshu Chaudhury from Alembic Pharma, were part of an expert panel, throughout the two-day conference to answer questions, solve problems and queries and resolve critical issues of the industry’s impurity related problems.
