Global leader in patient care selects innovative partner to optimize physician workflows, improve outcomes and business performance, and reduce administrative burden
Mumbai, June 21, 2019: Brigham Women’s Physicians Organization (BWPO), a leading global healthcare provider, today announced its new partnership with IKS Health, a premier healthcare solutions organization, to address the demand for more detailed documentation, enable better patient and physician engagement, and increase practice efficiency.
Through this partnership, BWPO will begin implementation of IKS’ Scribble services in June 2019. Scribble allows more time for physician/patient interaction during clinical visits, frees up the physician schedule for additional patient access and reduces time spent on administrative tasks—giving doctors more time to care for both patients and themselves. Leveraging this technology, some physicians can spend up to 60 percent less time documenting data, saving 1-2 hours per day, and enabling them to see more patients.
“We are working to identify solutions that allow providers to focus on taking care of patients,” said BWPO’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jessica Dudley. “By removing the burden of documentation requirements, IKS’ Scribble program will enable doctors to be more present and engaged with patients, rather than focusing on the computer.”
“IKS, has always been focused on the future of healthcare and worked to provide quality care to all patients, while reducing administrative burden,” says Sachin Gupta, founder and CEO of IKS Health. “Working with Partners HealthCare and BWPO, we believe we’ll see this vision become reality as we effectively reach and improve even more patient lives through innovative technology, ensuring all stakeholders in the healthcare continuum continue to push forward and see quality improve for both patients and providers.”
