Veteran Ortho Specialist Dr. Pradeep Sharma Joins as Chief of Joint Replacement Services, ISIC

·He has 40 years of experience and was working as Director and Head of Centre for Orthopedics, Joint Replacement and Ortho Spine at BLK Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi before joining ISIC.

New Delhi, April 10, 2019: Dr. Pradeep Sharma, a veteran orthopaedic surgeon specialised in joint replacement and joint reconstruction, will join the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, New Delhi as Chief of Joint Replacement Services w.e.f. 8th April, 2019.

Dr. Sharma has 40 years of experience and was working as Director and Head of Centre for Orthopedics, Joint Replacement and Ortho Spine at BLK Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi. Prior to that he has worked as Sr. Consultant & Orthopaedic Surgeon and Chief Coordinator, Department of Orthopedics – Holy Family Hospital in New Delhi, and as a Consultant in Rockland Hospital New Delhi and Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj. He has been senior resident orthopaedics at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh and worked in various capacities at the Ministry of Health, Baghdad, Iraq and in the UK.

Dr. Sharma completed his MCh in Orthopaedics from University of Liverpool, following which he went on to pursue Arthroplasty Fellowships from Sindelfingen, Germany and Sentinal Hospital, Los Angeles, the U.S.A. as well as a Trauma Fellowship from Davos in Switzerland.
